BC Early Years Professional Development Hub
Developed in partnership with ECEBC, , , , and the BC Early Years Professional Development Hub was created for anyone working with children aged birth through 12 years and their families to provide a place to learn, share and connect with one another.
The Hub Background
In 2019, funding was provided to the BC Family Child Care Association, 91资源, Westcoast Child Care Resource Center and the Early Childhood Pedagogy Network as part of the to develop an expand key professional development opportunities for early care and learning professionals in BC including a mandate to do so through the creation of online learning opportunities.
To optimize resources, the partners decided to work together to build a shared asset for the sector that would not only provide course-based learning but also be a virtual space for educators across the sector to come together to connect, learn and share with one another.

Get connected with professionals across the sector and find professional development opportunities to explore, inspire and grow. In British Columbia, certified Early Childhood Educators are required to complete 40 hours of professional development over the course of their . The organizations offering online courses through the hub will provide professional development certificates for the hours of course completion. Certificates can be submitted as proof of professional development along with your renewal application.
